Paulette has been an educator for over 50 years. Her commitment to community strength through study has made her a respected collaborator and board member for several organizations globally. She presently sits on the boards of Stories of the Chesapeake Heritage Area, Jonestown Community Development Corporation, and Eastern Shore Land Conservancy.

Donna has held many high-ranking positions in the United States military, serving as a support for soldiers and officers across branches. Her ability to guide processes in a gentle, but firm manner continues to impact the young people and organizations that she guides as a board member and collaborator.

Harriet was a farmer, military hero, herbal healer and one of the most well known abolitionists in historical accounts. The spirit of her freedom journeys is a guiding and protecting force of our farm. We honor her legacy, the struggle of the people she led out of enslavement, and the memory of those who were free in spirit despite remaining in physical captivity.
